Relocation Policy
The Health Authorities of British Columbia are pleased to offer generous relocation reimbursement to new employees who relocate within the province, as well as to those who relocate from outside of the province.Relocation assistance of up to $3,000 will be provided to new employees relocating from other areas of BC, providing such relocation involves either a distance of 150 km or more or ferry travel. Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 will be provided to new employees who relocate from other Provinces (outside of BC) and other countries. The employee is required to provide a commitment for a one-year period. The employee will be required to reimburse the Health Authority on a pro-rated basis should they terminate their employment prior to the completion of one year. The following expenses are eligible for relocation assistance up to the maximum approved by the Employer. Anything not included is not covered. Original receipts must be kept and submitted to the employer to be eligible for reimbursement.
